Erie Street Station is Downtown Willoughby’s newest restaurant/bar in the Downtown Strip! They are located at 4027 Erie Street. This new venture will soon be opened in July by happy couple Peter Naer and Meghan Hammond, along with Meghan’s father, Pat Hammond. The history behind the name comes from Pat—when he was a child, Erie Street Station was a Greyhound Bus Station, and he loved this location growing up. This is where the color scheme and old photos will have come from.
Peter, a New York native, has been in the restaurant business his whole life. He has been in Willoughby for 11 months now, and is excited to bring something new to Erie street that will not be direct competition. Peter explained how he has high hopes for Erie Street Station to be a place where you can bring the whole family for dinner, or bring your friends and have a nice night out at the bar. He has loved being a part of the Downtown Willoughby Bar & Restaurant Association and has felt so welcomed.
Erie Street has anything from a New York Strip Style Steak, to Calamari, Crab Rangoon, pasta and burgers. They have a selection of wine, beer, spirits, etc. The kitchen will be open Monday-Thursday 11am-10 pm, Fridays and Saturdays 11am-11pm. They are also currently hiring bar tenders, servers, and kitchen staff. Stop by and give them a warm welcome as we jump into Summer 2017 here in beautiful Willoughby, Ohio!
